There is no such thing as love.....

2007 is coming to an end....one of the most eventful years in my life....i would probably tell this ever year but then again this year proved to be very special.....what was new this year????hmmm.....not all that different....some times i feel this has been the worst year....work, coll classes is all i have time for...no time for fun....pathetic life....but in the end i found my passion...something i can do for 24*7 (apart from sleeping eating movies n stuff)......i found out that i am good at something other than video games....something for which some respect me...

So in the end was it a fruitful year????Yeah that it certainly was....Made new friends,learnt a lot about life(touching huh) etc...Never before have i had such a hectic year...so am i lookin forward to such years in de future....certainly not....i always picture me sittin in Mauritius havin thetime of my life and for that i believe i atleast need to work hard for another 3 years.....so to all those ppl reading this i aint gonna waste time telling you such senti things bcos unlike u ppl i have work to do:))...

Well whenever two people of the opposite sex are concerned I have always wondered the difference between these 3 things. The problem is I don't understand Love & infatuation that much and many in the society never think a boy and a girl can just be good friends. As the title of my blog suggests I don't think there is anything called true love. Everything comes because none of us can be independent.Maybe I don't believe in love that much because I have seen men marrying even after a divorce and women dating tonnes of guys before settling for a rich one. I don't deny that love doesn't exists but that they are too rare. More than half the people who say they are in love split up. Just dunno how you can break up with a person you love so much in a matter of seconds. The only love i believe in, which never wavers is for that of your mother and in some cases of your father and siblings too. The rest is just for the society and stuff. Marriage is yet another thing which I hate. It makes no sense when you promise to spend your life with a person and then after a few months or years as the case maybe you can just walk inside a court and get a divorce.
Of the three things the worst is Infatuation. You just like a person for the way he or she looks at first sight??? Highly amusing. Well I am not any better. I do like beautiful girls known or not just like any other normal teenage guy. The thing is I don't follow those teenage instincts of mine normally at least. Let me tell you this, I have a seen a guy who has proposed to girl like a million times and the worst thing is he got rejected every single time and then he changed so drastically that he proposed to the girl's close friend.
Friendship-The one thing you can always count on. Many may consider love to be greater but the thing is friendship live on forever. There is no end to friendship , no divorce, no ceremonies....nothing....There is nothing to hide in friendship, no pressure from the society, no parental pressure etc. We are in the 21st century and yet many people can't accept the fact that there can be a genuine friendship between a boy and a girl. If u are close to a girl then it means that you are going out with her. I say to hell with all these beliefs. A friend is the only one who helps you no matter what situation you are in. They don't care who thinks what.
So what i want to say exactly is that long live all the friendships in the world. Don't look for your true love by going out with many and pls there are other attributes to girls other than their hot looks.

Well this is one question which i keep asking myself time and again. The truth is that I really don't know the answer myself. College life is so damn different from what i believed it would be. College life was supposed to be all fun(at least mostly fun) but then I rarely do have fun now. Many commend me for what I do but looking at my friends I feel like quitting the one thing I feel good at(well except video games) but then again I am not a quitter. Will I be able to complete the one thing which will give me everything I need...That's the million Dollar question and if I do complete it I will get a million dollars literally.
I might be getting a bit too pessimistic(I call it being realistic) but its 12 in the night and I have my exams tomorrow and I have no clue about it. Well I believe I gotta get my act together and start working but then tomorrow morning when I wake up I will be the same old Sharat who will take things as it comes. I have a dream......(words sounds familiar huh....)to become one of the best Chartered Accountants the world has seen(as i mentioned its a dream) and so to all those people who have wasted their time reading this post-wish me all the luck in the world bcos I am gonna need it....

Well all these years we have claimed that we(Indians) never sledge and we have claimed that though the Australians are World Champions they have never have the true spirit of the game. I think we can no longer do that. In the exciting Twenty-20 world cup semifinal clash between India and Australia you would find that it is quite the opposite. I wouldn't blame all the Indian players, in fact its only one player- Sreesanth.

You can just tell he has too much passion for the game, it was his first world cup semifinal match and we can keep giving endless reasons, but the fact is Sreesanth went beyond the line. Sreesanth's bowling was top notch, no doubt about that but that doesn't give him a reason to attack Matthew Hayden and Andrew Symonds. Again like we always do we will say he got lost in the game but then Sreesanth again showed his true colors when Mathew Hayden cam out as a runner for Mike Hussey. Unnecessary antics like these is what spoils the game. To top it all M.S.Dhoni as the captain never bothered to talk to Sreesanth. I don't know whether Sreesanth will be reprimanded or not but certainly it just created such a bad image. You may ask if the Australians can sledge why can't we?? Fair enough, but off late the Australians have reduced their sledging antics and now we are sinking to such a low level. One of you may again argue that it was just one player but when he plays for the country we have to generalize.

If we sledge every time we are winning then imagine the number of times Australians have beaten us. I am not degrading Indian cricket in any manner but off late it has taken a turn for the worst in many aspects. While some may be what we can call politics, things like these can be controlled. I only hope this doesn't happen in the future and we always have great games like these no matter which team wins as games like these is always good for the for the game of cricket.

THE wait is over....the last book of the harry potter series- harry potter and the deathly hallows has been released. As a potter fan i was surprised not by the climax but by the plot......the death of voldemort was inevitable so ppl cant say they were diappointed ....also since evryone already discussed all possible theories they mite feel disappointed....but still jkr has brought in some new elements.....well ppl may keep criticisin but think it from the author's pov.....overall i believe it is a fantastic series and one to remember for a very long time......
